Hi! I’m Megan Aucutt, the Associate Director of Programs at Healthy Birth Day, Inc. I have more than 10 years of experience in public health and I have a true passion for prevention and education, especially when it comes to moms and their little ones! I have three rambunctious children, Grayson (7), Emery (4) and Ryder (1). Needless to say, I’m one busy momma! But I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I started at Healthy Birth Day, Inc. about 9 months ago and I love it. I’m so happy to be part of this amazing organization that works hard every single day to make sure every baby has a chance at a healthy birth day.
When I started working on programs to educate people about Count the Kicks, I knew one of my first goals would be creating our first continuing education program, and I’m so happy to report that we are now LIVE with our very first CE training!
For providers interested in learning more about how to implement Count the Kicks, now is probably one of the best times to take this training. With the COVID-19 pandemic moving through our country and most of us practicing social distancing, why not take 1.5 hours out of your day at home to take our training?
Now more than ever it is important to educate expectant moms on the importance of tracking fetal movement. As healthcare providers navigate this public health crisis, there may be changes to regularly scheduled prenatal visits. By learning about our life-saving program and teaching expectant moms how to pay attention to their baby’s movements every day in the third trimester, you will have the peace of mind to know when things are OK and when things have changed.
Our training covers all the important details of our Count the Kicks program and our free app! One of our most important features of our free kick counting app is the ability for users to download their data and text or email directly to you, their provider! It’s a great feature to have any time, but especially right now.
By taking our CE training called “Save Babies with Us: A Healthcare Professional’s Guide on Talking to Expectant Parents about Count the Kicks and Fetal Monitoring!” you will learn the following and so much more!
- Learn how to have the kick counting conversation with expectant parents.
- Understand how to use the features of the Count the Kicks app.
- Learn how to best utilize the free tools and resources available for providers.
- Learn ways to respond if an expectant mother says they are experiencing reduced fetal movement.
We are happy to offer this to you, and through May 31st we are offering the training HALF-OFF. Just use the code savebabies-halfoff to take the training for $20.
