Hello, my name is DaShonda LaTrese Watkins. I am honored to become the second Count the Kicks Ambassador in Ohio! I live in Cincinnati, Ohio with my husband, Jeremy, our fur baby Juliette, and many close relatives.
On June 2, 2018, my husband Jeremy and I learned that our precious daughter, Aubrey Elise Watkins no longer had a heartbeat. Through heartbreak, I was induced and Aubrey was born at 5:35 am on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 34 weeks and 1 day in utero. She weighed 4 lbs. 5 oz and was 19 inches long. She was our beautiful baby girl with a head full of hair and perfect in our eyes.
Although our baby girl was born into this world silently, my desire is to “Honor Aubrey” by bringing Awareness and Advocacy (Aubrey), Education and Empowerment (Elise), and Wisdom along with the Wellness benefit (Watkins) kick counting has on a developing baby and family.
I look forward to collaborating with area hospitals, medical professionals and advocates in Ohio and beyond. My hope through this awareness campaign is to help prevent stillbirths and improve birth outcomes so that all babies can have a healthy birth day!Email Me
